There were three movies made which were based on Shakespeare's play 'The Comedy of Errors', Angoor, Do Duni Char, and Kandukondaen Kandukondaen (Tamil).
It should come as no surprise then that a 1982 Indian film called "Angoor" or grape was based on William Shakespeare's play. The film was produced by one Jai Sing and was directed by noted Indian director Gulzar. The movie starred Indian screen legend Sanjeev Kumar and Devan Verma and Moushumi Chatterjee.
