What is different in Foriegn countries that we dont have?
I love my country so much. India is good in many aspects. But I really feel that there are some things that are better in foriegn countries that we have to bring here. Those who have traveled to other countries please mention their experiences. Suggest some things that are there in foriegn countries which should be made available here. Please mention the reason for having it here too.
Members who are from countries other than India, share what you think is very good in your country so that we will know what is happening elsewhere that we are not able to experience!
I too love my country, and feel that it could be better than what it is now.
I have been to UAE. Its a great place for tourists... you'll just love the skyscrapers and the way country systems are maintained.
I have been thinking, why our country too cannot be made one such.
Gulf countries, the people support in maintenance. Here we spit on our roads,put waste and do not take the pain to bother if its another one's place. But people abroad go by the rules and regulations, or else they know the consequences. authorities are strict in keeping the place clean.
whereas here, neither the people support and nor are the authorities bothered whether they maintain it or not.
I just quote the case of maintaining the roads clean and tidy. That itself tell much about a nations system.
There are many other categories were the same happens.
But mere complaints any common man can do. No use complaining about people or authorities. If you want something, it has to first start from you ! Try executing it in your locality, slowly other's too will realize the need ( If at all bothered).
If the government make a rule that no one should spit on public places, I am sure no one will agree to that. And the best of all the government will not make the alternate arrangement for that too. Then people will ask... Where will we spit when we feel to?
So I think first the government should bring the alternate arrangement first. Then the govt should bring the rule to effect.
But then also I dont think any of our people will follow it! People will say ... Why should I go 10 meters to find a 'spit spot' to spit when I can spit here. But lets give it a try. I think this will be a good step forward atleast.
Well i can just think of one very good and probably the best thing that other countries have and ours do not.
So to be specific out country is seriously missing a better government system, and once we get that i guess that can take us to newer heights.

In our dear country governments are formed by corrupt politicians and not some educated guys that can think of improving things. Here the parties fight between themselves and i must say more money is spent in bribing than in development.

the ppl are different n their views are different..they are least bothered abt others..they don care abt wat u do n wat u wear n how many times u marry n how many times u divorce
did u know that abroad when u wanna meet ur frnz u cant jus go to their house..u have to call them n ask them when to cum..only aftr they tell u.u can go n meet them

it is not like that in europe!!! in europe u just can come in into ur friends house, u dont need to call them before and european people do bother abt others, but regarding important things, and european people do support each other a lot, more than between indian people...
specially in the context of mediterranean euopean people...whr still family is a very important base on the society...
Corruption is one of the more important things must change for India to be a better country.
Dirtyness, why Indian people throw the garbage on the streets while foreign people try to clean the streets clean??
Ethics...how many Indian people treat low-class people in a very bad way??? only because they are poor or they are cleaners, waiters...or do some other jobs considered "dirty" middle and high class indians treat them as if they were not persons...
respect...depretiation to muslims...depretiation between hindus of different casts...
Politicians...how many politicians break the rules and nothng happens to them...??
If all this changes, India could be one the best countries in the world as it is amanzing beautiful and have lot of resources, human and natural...
ethics, respect between people and respect to the law must be followed...
