close your eyes and take deep breath continuosly for 3 times slowly.
breath in and breath out.focus your eyes on a small imaginary dot so that you go deeply in to sypnosis stage.
Relaxation is most wanted thing now a days. Every one wants to relax and enjoy life fully. but many fail to do so.
1. take out some time for youself. in that time just be your self.
2. don't blame your self or others for mistakes. forgive evryone including you, for all mistakes. (hmm sounds very difficult and werid, but by practice you can make it.)
3. do at least one mediation daily.
4. if all thease things look difficult then just go and attend "Art of living" Part I course by H. H. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
That is ultimate thing i have ever seen to deal with stress and that will make you more relaxed day by day.

There are many ways to relax. Just have rest on bed for some time. you can go out door also in the part to relax. Just forget about the world and your activities for some time. Keep your self cool and calm. Have longer breaths to facilitate your relaxing.
to relax mentally, and give your brain some rest, just listen to ur fav music, or do something that u enjoy to do. like for me i love painting and clubbing. so thats what i do. for some physical relaxation, do pranayam and then shavasan... the combo of these 2 is simply great...
