How to make my silver ring look new?

I have been wearing a silver ring since last 3 years.But now, it looks stained and doesn't shine.How can i make the ring look new amd shiny?
Is there any special powder for that?

use baking soda or tooth paste

hi i have heard that you cna use either baking soda or toothpaste to clean your silver items with and it maks thme shine like new. try it out.
