How many of you feel that A R Rahman might have been given oscar in his beginning stage itself?
Hi...Guys..how many of u feel that it is very unlucky to have an Oscar very late as becos AR Rahman doing lots and lot of good music from the beginning.And we feel AR Rahman is already eligible for an Oscar when he did his first film(Roja) itself.Am i right friends.....?

I did not feel anything that special in Jai Ho! There were many other songs of AR which was much better. If Jai ho standard is enough for an Oscar, he would have won many by now! Even he admitted that this was not his best song. I truly believe Slumdog Millionaire got an oscar just because it was directed by a foriener. We have had much better films than that! Why only this????
yep, i too agree with you buddy!Slumdog won because, its directed my a westerner.Also, about AR Rehman's award, he well- deserved it,as all songs he makes, are magical, and for western audience, who haven't heard his maaster piece songs,this song is enough for the oscar!i was wondering, how many awards, he would have won, if his classic compositions were at oscars, he he.. he would have had world record for maximum number of oscars....

ya i 2 agree dat rahman shud hv been given oscar early.I think his first films like bombay,roja,rangeela had much better music than that of slumdog millionaire.So i think dat rahman shud hv gt oscar fr those films than dis.
All Indian music directors are geniuses.They know how to survive in Indian films.There are lot of pressure on them.Surviving in Indian film industry is really a great achievement.
A.R.Rahman got a chance,he proved himself.
