How is Windows 7? Is it better than XP?

I am using Win 7 from the past 3 months. I am extremely satisfied with it. It has never hanged which is very unlikely for an OS from the MS stable. The OS feels light and is Great. Kudos to MS for this masterpiece.

I use Windows XP and my friend use Windows 7. So, I can easily tell you the advantage of Windows 7 over Windows XP.
Advantage of 7 over XP
1. File copy and paste work is much faster in Windows 7 than XP.
2. Windows 7 have a in-build security system which give a good backup in PC.
3. The style of Icons is look better than XP.
4. Overall much efficient OS is Windows 7 compare to XP.

Disadvantage of 7
1. Windows 7 is not very good for games. Some time computer background become black after played games. So, if you want to play hi-graphics game in your PC then it is better to use Widows XP and try to avoid Windows 7.
I play hi-graphics games so I use XP and my friend use 7 because he not play this type of games.
Overall, Windows 7 is highly recommended by me.

some of them say that windows 7 do not support old softwares.but I found that it support all softwares . its exciting look supports many user friendly methods.some of them are
1.its main look is in transparancy in look of task bar and other windows.
2.desktop include a sidebar which can be custamised.
3.use of a shortkey win+tab will arrange all windows in a particular manner.
4.windows 7 supports automatic driver configuration of sound ,mother board..etc.
5.Internet surfing is much more effitient than xp.
6.booting process is much faster than xp.
over all with this properties and much more Windows7 is owtsum as compared to windows xp.
