Can you give some suggestions on weekend plans in Bangalore.

Any suggestions on weekend holidays in Bangalore...some good places to visit some where not too far from bangalore..sinc we have only two days holidays it cant be more that 200 kms far..The only places to vist in Bangalore are the shopping Malls wit which Iam fed up




Just 2 hours! then you will just have time for some shopping. Forum is a good place for making some good shopping. Cool brands are available at OK prices.

Brt Wildlife Sanctuary : (Karnataka)- 235 kms South of Bangalore.
BRT Wildlife Sanctuary, known for its elephants and rich biodiversity, spreads over 525 square km, is a treasure house of over 270 birds, sloth bear, wild boar, bison and elephant.

Bandipur National Park : (Karnataka)- 215 Kms Southwest of Bangalore. Bandipur National Park set up in 1931 by the Mysore Maharajas was formed by extending the Venugopal Wildlife Park. This sanctuary has elephants, gaur, wild boars, sambhars, spotted deer or wild dogs, tiger and leopards.

Nagarhole National Park : (Karanataka)- 210 kms South of Bangalore.
Nagarhole National Park, recently named as Rajiv Gandhi National Park, was an exclusive hunting preserve of the erstwhile rules of Mysore. Covering an area of 644 sq. kms, this park lies between the Kabini River and the Bandipur national park and has excellent wildlife watching facilities.

Siddapur And Surrounding Plantations : (Karnataka)- 218 kms South-West of Bangalore.
